Setting Up Your Mechanical Cuckoo Clocks

Please read these instructions carefully before assembly. Following them precisely is essential to avoid damaging your cuckoo clock. Any damage resulting from improper assembly will void the warranty.

Installation Procedure

Use a strong, long nail inclined at a 45-degree angle upwards to secure the clock to an even wall surface, ensuring it is at least 8 feet above the ground.

Please do not open the small paper bag attached to the bottom of the clock.

Carefully unpack the cuckoo clock along with its accessories, pendulum, and weights.

Open the back cover and carefully remove the paper strip attached to it.

Remove the two clamps from the bellows, which are labeled with "PULL OUT."

Open the paper bag located underneath the clock to access the chains. The chains are secured with a wire; please remove this wire carefully. Important: Do not turn the clock upside down, as this may cause damage.

Hang the clock on the strong nail, ensuring it is flush against the wall . Improper positioning will cause the pendulum to stop swinging.

Unlatch the cuckoo bird's door by moving the wire to the side. If it remains latched, the cuckoo will not come out.

Hang the pendulum onto the loop located at the base of the cabinet.

Hang each of the weights on to the chain hooks. Please ensure that the pendulum is swinging freely.

Clocks without music: There are 2 weights.
Clocks with music: There are 3 weights.

Setting the Time :
Rotate the Minute Hand: Slowly turn the minute hand (long hand) clockwise, using the center knob for support.

Wait for Strikes: Pause to allow the clock to strike at 12 and 6 positions.

Important Notes:
Do not turn the hour hand (small hand).
Do not rotate the minute hand counterclockwise.

To start the clock, gently push the pendulum to one side, and it will begin to tick. The clock is hanging correctly if you hear a regular “tick, tock, tick, tock” sound and the cuckoo clock continues to run without stopping.

The clock's accuracy can be adjusted using the pendulum.

1. Remove the Pendulum: Take the pendulum off the loop to regulate the speed.

2. Adjusting Speed:
To slow down the clock, move the pendulum disk downward.

To speed up the clock, push the pendulum disk upward (1 cm adjustment equals approximately ±5 minutes).

3. Allow Time: Let the clock run for 1-2 days before making further adjustments.

Silent Switch:
Cuckoo clocks feature a silent switch (loop or lever) that allows you to turn off the cuckoo bird and music.

Rewinding the Cuckoo Clock:
Depending on the model, the clock needs to be wound every 24 hours or every 7 days.

1. Winding Process: Pull the free end of the chains to raise the weights back to the top.

2. Important: Do not pull on the weights directly, as this can damage the clock's gears.
